Logistics, Courtesy Shuttle, and Check-in volunteers are staffed by friends and family of our professional emergency services staff.

Logistics and Courtesy Shuttle volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

We require at least one year on the playa prior to performing in these roles since our roles require familiarity with navigating Black Rock City to deliver people, food, recycling, etc. Navigating in our fair city is not an easy task and even returning volunteers can get lost, but newbies don’t stand a chance.
